Holiday with dog
The family dog should obviously go on holiday with you! Rent one of our holiday homes where dogs and other pets are welcome. Next to each holiday home is marked whether dogs are welcome, and in that case, how many dogs or other pets you may bring.

Show consideration
Even though dogs are welcome in most of Feriepartner’s more than 5000 holiday homes, you should show consideration for the holiday home and the surroundings you are in. Pets are not allowed on furniture, in beds or on couches, and the house and the surrounding area should be cleaned up, even if you have ordered cleaning at the end of your stay.

A good dog holiday
Even though the dog can usually be home alone without any problems, it is not a good idea to leave the dog alone in the holiday home. The dog may become frustrated, because it feels alone in the unfamiliar surroundings. You could for example bring a blanket that the dog knows and is comfortable with from home to make it feel more comfortable in the new surroundings.

Keep the dog on a leash
Our holiday homes are always close to nature, which provides many great possibilities for wonderful walks. However, unless anything else is stated, you should always keep the dog on a leash, because dog that are not on a leash may frighten the wild animals. Even a dog on a leash may seem scary to children and people who are afraid of dogs, so make sure that you always show consideration for other people out on walks.

Dog forest and beach
There are more than 100 forests in Denmark where you are allowed to let your dog off the lead. During the winter season from 1. October to 31. March, you can bring dogs to most beaches, but there are exceptions – watch out for signs in the area.
